Kanturk’s Dan McCabe will captain the side at No. 8 and will be joined by his fellow club man and brother Luke at inside centre.

Luke McCabe has been a stand out player for the ‘Turks’ this season and his try scoring ability will be key to the Juniors’ bid for Interprovincial glory.

The McCabes are not the only set of siblings to make the starting XV, Clonmel is providing the lion’s share of the backline which includes full back Conor Cooney who will be backed up either side by brothers Greg and Rob Carroll. Greg was capped last year on the wing for both the Ulster and Connacht game while Rob will get his first cap this weekend.

Altogether there are nine new caps starting and six more on the bench waiting for their opportunity. Players Brian O’Neill, Stephen Burke, Dan McCabe, Ben Martin, Greg Carroll, Patrick Ryan and Peter Earlie return from the 2012 squad.

Munster Juniors XV: Stuart Lee (Old Christians), Ben Martin (Clonmel), Greg Carroll (Clonmel), Luke McCabe (Kanturk), Eoin Duffy (Waterpark), Rob Carroll (Clonmel), Conor Cooney (Clonmel), Barry Kelly (St Marys), Mike Cronin (Castleisland), Brian O’Neill (Kanturk), Stephen Burke (Galbally), Ruari O’Donnell (St Marys), Brian Downey (St Marys), Kevin Allen (Cobh Pirates), Dan McCabe Capt (Kanturk).
