Munster Juniors Named For Leinster

The Munster Junior side have made several changes for their trip to face Leinster at Coolmine RFC this Saturday (kick-off 2.30pm).

Munster are searching for their first victory of the series, after conceding three tries to Ulster in last week’s home game at Muskerry RFC.

The game sees first starts in a Junior provincial jersey for Niall Campion in the front row and scrum half Conor Cremin who both made appearances off the bench last Saturday, while Ronan O’Brien, Luke Hogan and Ronan Crosse will all be earning their first caps.

Munster Juniors Head Coach, John Keehan, said: “The Ulster game was a huge disappointment on a number of levels. Leinster are a quality side and to beat them away from home will require us to be at our absolute best.”

Munster Juniors: Warren Kelly (St. Senan’s); Dan Horgan (Muskerry), Luke Hogan (Clonmel), Eoin O’Dwyer (Thurles), Ronan O’Brien (Kanturk); Derry O’Connor (Abbeyfeale); Conor Cremin (Kanturk); Niall Campion (Clonmel), Mike Cronin (Castleisland), David O’Gorman (Clonmel); Sean Walsh (Clanwilliam), Brendan Childs (Galbally) capt; Tony Cantwell (Clonmel), Ronan Crosse (Clonmel), Kieran Downey (Castleisland).

Replacements: Mark Corby (Clonmel), Brendan Kelleher (Kanturk), Danny Lambe (Fethard), Luke Kelly (Thurles), Oisin Walsh (Galbally), Sean Herlihy (Newcastle West), John Lillis (Thurles), Tom O’Callaghan (Mitchelstown).
