Munster Lose Final Junior Interpro Tie
12th May 2019 By Leonard Allen

Abbetfeale's Derry O'Connor kicked four penalties in his side's 17-10 home win over Thomond.
Munster’s hopes of winning the Junior Interprovincial title ended in disappointment at Creggs RFC as Connacht came from behind to beat them 29-21.
Munster started the day level on points with Leinster and one behind leaders Ulster and depending on results were in with a good chance of taking the title.
Following Leinster’s 28-20 win over Ulster which saw them retain the title, Munster finished bottom of the table.
Munster held a 14-10 lead at half-time but were unable to match Connacht’s second-half display. Ben Ridgeway scored two tries for Munster and Brian Bennett one, with Ridgeway converting all three.
