Munster On Board With SkillsBase

Munster Rugby are utilising the SkillsBase communication platform which allows players in Munster’s age-grade squads to receive information relating to session plans and strength & conditioning.

The app allows the Rugby Development department to promote Munster Rugby’s best practice programmes including the cornerstones programme to players and coaches throughout the province.

The app also promotes feedback from players and coaches through features such as the feedback loop, surveys and quizzes.

The platform has allowed players to increase their technical knowledge, engage with coaches safely and create a greater interest in the game. The platform will be used throughout the year but primarily for the development programmes which run over the Christmas and Summer months.

Coach and Player Development Manager Keith Murphy said:

“I find the analytics and reports very useful. They allow me to track and identify the areas of interest from the players and coaches. That then helps us to design and develop new material going forward.”
