Munster Players Enjoy Summer Camp Activities
15th August 2013 By Munster Rugby
There was great excitement in Dungarvan, Nenagh and Newcastlewest rugby clubs yesterday, 14th August, when a number of Munster players paid a visit to the boys and girls attending the Summer Camps.
This week James Cronin, John Ryan, Ivan Dineen and Sean Dougall took time out of their busy training schedule ahead of their pre season fixture against Gloucester in Thomond Park, to visit Dungarvan RFC where they took part in the fun activities with Summer Camp participants.
BJ Botha, Shane Buckley, Duncan Casey and Johne Murphy travelled to Nenagh Ormond and joined in on the rugby games followed by a questions and answers session. The players were very impressed with the rugby knowledge of the young boys and girls who also displayed good skills on the pitch.
Participants at Newcastlewest were also on a high following the arrival of CJ Stander, Barry O’Mahony, Cathal Sheridan and Andrew Conway who were delighted to meet the young players and take part in their rugby games in beautiful playing conditions.
Munster Rugby Summer Camps will end for 2013 on Friday, 23rd August following next week’s camps at Coláiste Stiofáin Naofa (CSN Cork), Old Crescent RFC and Skibbereen RFC. Places are still available for a fee of cost is €;85 per child. Please note there is again an online booking facility in place this year.
