Munster Rugby Schools Sevens 2010

Nenagh RFC will be this season’s first venue to host the Provincial Schools Sevens Series on Tuesday, February 23rd at 11.00 a.m.

Participating Tipperary schools include St. Ailbes, The Abbey, Borrisokane Community College, Nenagh and Borrisoleigh which promises to be a unique day for schools rugby in County Tipperary.

Sevens has been played in the province for schools for the past three seasons mainly within Limerick city and county and this is the first series to spread across the entire province.

On February 24th the Clare series commences at St. Senans RFC with schools from Ennis, Ennistymon and Lissycasey participating.

The Limerick Schools, Crescent College Comprehensive, Desmond College, SMI (Newcastlewest), St. Endas, St. Nessans, St. Clements and St. Munchins will compete at Crescent College Comprehensive on February 25th while Tralee RFC will host the Kerry Schools on March 10th.

The Cork and Waterford dates/venues will be confirmed as soon as possible.
