Munster Rugby took part in the recent Waterford SportsAbility Day which was run by the Waterford Sports Partnership (WSP) and the Waterford SportsAbility forum.

The forum was established with the aim of sharing information on the physical activity opportunities which are available to people with a disability in the Waterford region.

The SportsAbility Day was held on Sunday, October 1st and it saw a number of different sporting organisations, from local clubs to national governing bodies, provide information on what they offer before taster sessions then took place later in the day. Over 200 people attended.

Rugby Development Officer Ben Swindlehurst represented Munster Rugby on the day and he provided the opportunity for participants to take part in passing, tag rugby and rugby relay games.
