Munster Schools Boys Junior And Senior Cups Get Underway

The pool stages of the Munster Schools Boys Junior Cup and Pinergy Munster Schools Boys Senior Cup got underway this week.
Proceedings kicked off yesterday evening when Bandon Grammar took on Glenstal Abbey in Group A of the Junior Cup. The game finished 31-5 in favour of the Cork side.
Presentation Brothers College get their title defenses underway on Wednesday as their Junior side take on Castletroy College in Wilton and their Senior side clash with St Munchin’s College in Corbally.
Elsewhere in Group A of the Junior Cup, Bandon Grammar School take on Glenstal Abbey in Bandon.
In Group B, Christians Brothers College line up against Munster CSP in Lansdowne while Rockwell College play Crescent College Comprehensive in Dooradoyle.
The Munster Boys Schools Junior Cup qualifiers will take place Thursday with the clash between Midleton CBS and Clonakilty Secondary School.
In Group A of the Pinergy Munster Schools Boys Senior Cup, Castletroy will meet Rockwell College in Castletroy on Friday while Group B kicks off on Wednesday with the meetings of Ardscoil Rís and Bandon Grammar in Liam Fitzgerald Park, and Munster CSP and Crescent College Comprehensive in Dooradoyle.
The qualifiers for the Senior Cup will take place on Thursday where Midleton CBS will take on Hamilton High School in Midleton.
The draw for the knock out stages will take place once the round-robin stage has been completed.
