The Munster Schools Boys Junior Cup continued this week with the quarter final pairings being officially confirmed.
Quarter final one will see Limerick’s Castletroy College meet Cork’s Christian Brothers College.
Road To The Quarter Final..
Christians breezed into the quarter finals after beating first time qualifiers Clonakility Community College 33-0.
Castletroy took a different approach as they were beaten 28-21 in an end-to-end battle with Rockwell College in the first semi final qualifier.
The winner of quarter final one will go on to meet St Munchins in the semi finals.
Quarter final two will see defending champions Presentation Brothers College take on fellow Cork outfit Bandon Grammar School.
Road To The Quarter Final..
PBC qualified for the quarter final by losing to St Muchins in the second of the semi final qualifiers with a score line of 12-29.
Bandon saw themselves into the final by beating Limerick side Crescent College Comprehensive. A nail biting display that saw the Cork side take the win with a three point cushion as it ended 10-7.
The winner of quarter final two will go on to meet Tipperary’s Rockwell College in the semi final.
