Pinergy Munster Schools Girls Senior Cup Semi-Final | Sacred Heart (Clonakilty) 23 – 7 Colaiste Muire (Ennis)
Sacred Heart Clonakilty are on route to defending their Pinergy Munster Schools Girls Senior Cup title as they overcame Colaiste Muire Ennis 34-7.
The Clonakilty based outfit clocked up three tries in the opening 35 minutes from Rachel Twomey, Clodagh McCarthy and Meghan Coakley putting them 15 points ahead at half time.
Lynsday Clarke crossed over for Colaiste Muire’s first score in the first minute of play in the second half which was then converted by Hannah Sadi.
But Sacred Heart fought back and scored three more tries through Jo Mccaughey, Laura Sexton and Clodagh McCarthy.
The West Cork side will now face 2023 winners St. Annes Killaloe in the Pinergy Munster Senior Cup Final.
Date and time of the final will be confirmed in due course.

Munster Schools Boys Junior Cup | Castletroy 5 – 18 Christian Brothers College.
It took Christians 16 minutes to get on the scoreboard in the first of two Munster Schools Boys Junior Cup quarter finals this week as Harry Quinlan kicked a penalty from 20 metres to give the side a 3 point advantage.
This was the kick the Cork side need as just four minutes later as James Earle crashed over the line after a fantastic break from winger Sean Riordan.
A held up try for CBC in the 30th minute saw out the half as the Cork side lead 0-8.
CBC were on the board again in the 38th minute as Harry Quinlan kicked another penalty to bring the gap to double figures.
Castletroy finally lodged a response in the 40th minute with a unconverted try from hooker Aryan Brysz.
But CBC struck for the final time as James Earle dove over for his second try of the afternoon. Harry Quinlan kicked the extras taking the final score to 5-18 and sending the Lee siders through to yet another semi-final.
They will now St. Munchins in Thomond Park next Wednesday.

Munster Schools Boys Junior Cup | Presentation Brothers College 7 – 27 Bandon Grammar School
It was a day to forget for three in a row winners Presentation Brothers College as underdogs Bandon Grammar School put four tries on the Cork City side.
Bandon Grammar’s Jamie Hicks got scoring going in the ninth minute as he crashed over and converted his own try.
But PBC responded just five minutes later with a try from hooker Odhran O’Keeffe. Captain David Nolan added the extras brining the sides level as they headed in at half time.
Three unanswered tries from Bandon’s Matthew McCarthy, Charlie O’Dowd and Callum J Harrington all but secured the schools semi-final place.
A penalty in the 45th minute from Hicks was the final score of the game sending the West Cork outfit through with a scoreline of 7-27.
They will now meet Rockwell College in Fethard Town Park next Wednesday.
