Munster Senior Cup Draw

The draw has been made for the next season’s Munster Senior Cup.

Holders Garryowen begin their defence with a home tie against Thomond but the winners face a difficult quarter final tie away to the winners of the Cork Constitution v Dolphin clash.

Bruff last season’s beaten finalists and the winners the year before begin with a home tie against Cashel with the winners facing either Highfield or Old Crescent in the last eight.

The winners of these quarter final ties will meet in the semi finals so there will not be a repeat of the final for the last two seasons.

On the other side of the draw the winners of Sunday’s Well v Clonakilty will face either Nenagh Ormond or U.L. Bohemian in the quarter final.

The final quarter final tie will see the winners of Midleton against Shannon up against either Young Munster or U.C.C.

The losers of the first round will play in a Plate competition.
