Munster Staff Attend IRFU Technical Model

Munster Rugby’s Technical Rugby Staff recently attended a two day course in Enfield, Co Meath for the unveiling of the new IRFU Technical Model.

The model is designed to reinforce a collective approach to the technical development of rugby in Ireland.

Technical staff that attended the course included Munster Rugby’s Community Rugby Officers/Manager, Coach Development Officers, Elite Player and Academy Officers, Provincial Academy Manager and the Domestic Rugby Manager.

The aim of the workshop was to up-skill and facilitate a greater knowledge of the technical model among all technical rugby staff in Elite Player and Coach Development Programmes and reinforce a collective direction for rugby technical development for the next 3-5 years.

This continuous professional development will help with improving the knowledge of Munster Rugby’s technical staff who will be integrating the IRFU Technical Model throughout Coaching and Elite Player Programmes in the coming months.
