Munster Stars Visit Summer Camps

The second week of the Munster Rugby Summer Camps sponsored by Centra got off to a great success in CSN, Cork and Carrick-On-Suir RFC.

Boys and girls aged between six and thirteen from Cork City and Waterford have been enjoying a fun week while improving their rugby skills and making lots of new friends.

The children’s excitement was enhanced on Wednesday by a visit from professional players, Doug Howlett and Tom Gleeson who took time out from their busy training schedule to visit the Colaiste Stiofan Naofa Summer Camp.

Denis Hurley and Scott Deasy also paid a visit to the Carrick-on-Suir camp where they joined in and played some fun games with the children.

Munster Rugby’s Summer Camps will continue throughout the summer over a number of venues within the province. Of particular note is that next week's camp based in Waterpark RFC will spend the final day (Friday 23rd July) at the Regional Sports Centre to coincide with the Munster Senior Team Training Day.
