Munster U17 Combined Squad Gets Underway
23rd May 2013 By Munster Rugby
A Munster Under 17 combined selection of players from the Regional Development Squad and Munster ‘B’ Schools recently attended a 11 a-side blitz at Cork Institute of Technology grounds.
The purpose of the day was to identify players to enter the Munster Rugby Development Pathway and take part in the Munster U17 programme in conjunction with the Regional Development Squads.
Identified players will also take part in two training sessions in July and August at Rockwell College to prepare for upcoming development fixtures against the Under 17 Combined Squads of Leinster, Ulster and Connacht.
This initiative is designed to replace the Munster ‘A’ Schools interprovincial squad and prepare players for U18 Club and School selection next season.
