Munster U17 To Play Touring USA Academy Side

The Munster U17 squad are set to play the Eagle Impact Rugby Academy at Irish Independent Park tomorrow, Saturday 20 July (kick-off 2pm), in preparation for an U17 interprovincial blitz later this month.

As part of the Munster Age-Grade Player Development Programme, the Munster U17 squad participate in the Bank of Ireland Talent Camps and benefit from professional facilities throughout the summer months at the University of Limerick and Irish Independent Park.

The talent camps, which include U17, U18 and U19 squads, provide an opportunity for coaches to see how players adapt to the professional environment, and to have a closer look at talent already identified across the various age-grades.

The talent camp schedule is residential and includes on-pitch activities, strength and conditioning sessions as well as nutritional and player welfare tutorials.
