Munster U18 Clubs Named For Ulster

The Munster Under 18 Clubs, sponsored by Bank of Ireland, will travel to Rainey Old Boys RFC to take on Ulster on Saturday, 3rd September (ko 1pm) in their opening Interprovincial fixture.

Head Coach Brendan O’Connor has selected his starting lineup with Evan O’Gorman from Young Munster named as captain.

The front row comprises of Garryowen hooker Derry Gleeson alongside props Aaron Hennessy from Ennis and Bruff’s Fionn Flanagan.

Charlie Murphy from Dungarvan and Nenagh’s Evan Murphy claim the lock positions while Young Munster’s Alan McInerney joins his club colleague Shane Brosnahan, and No. 8 Josh Hodnett from Clonakilty to make up the back row.

Half backs include Aaron Hehir from Shannon and Garryowen’s Harry Byrne who has recently returned from injury.

Tralee’s Joe Quilter and Ikem Ugwuru from Ennis will start on the wing while Joe O’Connor from Tralee joins Evan O’Gorman at centre, with Conor Hayes from Young Munster claiming his place at full-back.
