Munster U18 Clubs Squad Named For Interprovincial Festival Opener

Munster U18 Clubs Head Coach, Noel O’Meara, has named his squad for this Saturday’s Interprovincial season opener against Ulster at the University of Limerick (kick-off 3pm).

The squad will play against their Ulster counterparts on day one of a new-look Interprovincial format, which sees a three-day U18 Interpro festival introduced for the first time by the IRFU and hosted by UL.

O’Meara’s side will then take on Connacht next Wednesday, 22 August, before facing Leinster on the final day of competition, Sunday 26 August.

The Munster U18 Schools team will also compete in the Interprovincial festival, opening their campaign against Ulster on Saturday (kick-off 1pm), before facing Leinster on Wednesday 22 August and IQ U18 Rugby on Sunday 26 August.

The Munster U18 Clubs and Schools squads have been preparing for their upcoming Interprovincial campaigns at the Bank of Ireland Talent Camps, which have been running at both UL and CIT for all of the Munster age-grade squads over the last six weeks.
