Munster U18 Girls 7s Development Programme Continues

The Munster U18 Girls Sevens took part in their second Sevens Interprovincial Development Blitz last Saturday at Tullamore RFC.

Munster suffered defeat to Ulster and Leinster but overcame Connacht in the one date event.

The squad, coached by Matt Browne, will travel to St. Mary’s RFC in Dublin on the 6th August in their in their third and final development blitz.

Enya Breen takes a kick for her province

The squad of 21 began training in June and have continued throughout the summer as they focus on developing their skills.

Following the 7s development programme, many of the players will revert back to 15s rugby ahead of the U18 Girls Interprovincial Series scheduled for September.
