Munster U18 Girls Win Historic Opener

The Munster U18 Girls won their first ever Interprovincial game at Ballincollig RFC on Saturday afternoon as they overcame Connacht 33-7.

Munster made a great start and raced into a 12-0 lead thanks to tries from Aisling Brosnan and Emily Lane with Enya Breen adding one conversion.

A game Connacht outfit hit back with a converted try of their own to make it 12-7 but Munster restored their 12 point lead thanks to a try from prop Hayley Betts and Breen's second conversion.

The win was sealed thanks to a Stephanie Nunan try with Breen adding another two points before a fifth try late on sealed an impressive 33-7 victory.
