Munster U18 Schools & Munster U18 Clubs Fixture Postponed

The Munster U18 Schools v Munster U18 Clubs selection game scheduled for today at the Cork Institute of Technology (CIT) has been postponed to Saturday, 20th April at Rockwell College (ko 11am) due to unplayable pitch conditions.

Saturday’s match will be the final stage of the squad selection process for Head Coaches Noel O’Meara (Clubs) and Mark Butler (Schools) following player identification assessments via Club and School competitions throughout the province since October 2012.

Selected players will take part in continuous skills and conditioning programmes in Cork and Limerick together with the Munster U20 and Munster U19 squads as part of their player development screening process.

Munster Scrum Coach Paul McCarthy will continue to coordinate scrum clinics for all squads over the coming weeks ahead of the Munster Rugby Talent Camp in preparation for the 2013 Interprovincial Series.
