Munster U19 Lose At Home to Connacht.

Two tries in a three minute spell mid way through the second half turned this game around to give Connacht a 19-11 victory in this Inter Provincial tie at Dooradoyle.

Munster made a great start when wing forward Eoghan Cross got in for a try after seven minutes.

Jack Carty gave Connacht the lead with a try before half time which Callum Boland converted but Munster out half Sean Og Murphy restored Munster’s advantage with a penalty two minutes later to leave the score 8-7 to the home side at half time.

Sean Og Murphy extended Munster’s advantage with his second penalty on fifty eight minutes but tries on 61 and 63 minutes by Jack O’Connell and Shane Layden, one of which Boland converted put the visitors into an eight point lead.

Munster were unable to reduce this deficit in the closing stages.
