Munster U19’s Set For Crescent Challenge

A Munster U19 extended squad will take on Munster Schools Senior Cup champions Crescent College Comprehensive in a charity game at the school’s home ground on Saturday, 13th April, kick off 2pm.
The Munster U19 selectors will view their current squad of 36 players as part of their final selection process before a squad of 26 are named to take part in this season’s Interprovincial Series in September.
In conjunction with ongoing training and fitness testing the Munster U19 side will take part in the five week Munster Rugby Talent Camp programme this summer together with the Munster U20, Munster 18 Clubs and Munster U18 Schools squads.
Following Crescent’s impressive Munster Schools Senior Cup campaign, captained by Munster interprovincial player Gearoid Lyons, Saturday’s fixture promises to be an exciting, highly competitive match and a great platform to showcase Munster Rugby’s emerging talent.
