Munster U19s Squad Named

The Munster U19s commence their Interprovincial campaign with an away fixture against Ulster at the Belfast Harlequins grounds tomorrow Saturday at 3pm.

After some tough pre-tournament games against Irish Exiles, the Italian Academy, Clermont Auvergne, Leicester Academy and Cardiff U19s the Keith Murphy coached Munster side are now looking forward to their Interpro challenge.

A significant addition to the team leading in to the Interpro's is the confirmation of GxP Systems as team sponsor. In launching the U19's jersey sponsorship Managing Director Linda Mellerick said the following, “We are delighted to have this opportunity to partner with Munster Rugby’s future stars. As our Irish and International customer base grows, we strive to embrace this with the same determination to succeed as the Munster players. We look forward with great excitement to a successful season ahead for Keith, Gary, Ultan & all the squad”.

Domestic Game Manager Ultan O'Callaghan added: “We are very fortunate that GxP have come on board with our Munster U19s, showing their commitment and investment in the development of Munster Rugby in these challenging times. We believe it will be a positive and prosperous partnership that will flourish over the course of the Interprovincial campaign.”

The Munster U19s squad is captained by Rockwell's Steven McMahon and he is joined by academy player Jack Cullen in the back-line.
