Munster U20 & U19 Face Leinster This Weekend

Following victories in their opening Inter Provincials last weekend both Munster Under 19 and Under 20 face Leinster this weekend in a bid to win their respective championships.

The Munster Under 20 side who defeated Connacht last weekend 21-14 will field an unchanged side for their trip to Donnybrook to face Leinster on Friday 14th September with a 7.00 kick off.
Munster scored two great tries from current Cork senior hurler Darren Sweetnam and Rob Jermyn last week and will again be looking for their back line to repeat another performance. The pack was well marshalled by skipper John Fitzgerald and if the pack can hold their own in the forward exchanges then Munster have the ability to cause an upset.

Munster make two changes in the pack. Hooker Aidan Slattery (PBC) coming in for Ben Burns (Castletroy College) who goes to the bench and Patrick Kearns (Ard Scoil Ris) is promoted from the bench to second row.
Because of the injury to wing forward Oisin O’Mara (Kilfeacle) the back row is rearranged with skipper Sonny Dwyer (Rockwell) moving from eight to seven and Lee Nicholas (St. Munchin's) moving to number eight having played in the second row last week.
Substitute Greg Barry (Crescent Comp.) proved Munster’s hero last week scoring his side’s only try in their 13-10 victory and David Johnston (Rockwell) kicked their remaining points.
