Munster U20’s Off to a Winning Start
13th September 2008 By Munster Rugby
The Munster U20’s side opened up their interprovincial campaign with a 23-13 win over their Connacht counterparts at Garryowen FC on Friday night.
Munster’s tries came from UCC centre Danny Barnes and Garryowen winger Ronan O’Mahony, with Garryowen scrum half Conor Murray kicking 13 points on the night, including two conversions and three penalties.
Next up is a trip to Donnybrook (v Leinster) and then the mouth watering prospect of being the first side to play in the new Thomond Park when they take on Ulster on Friday September 26th (7.30pm).
