Munster Under 19s Unlucky To Lose
7th September 2014 By Munster Rugby
Munster put in a good performance against Leinster in their opening game in the Under 19 Interprovincial series at Templeville Road going down 19-10.
Munster, sponsored by Star Elm Frames, were on top in the opening half but were left to rue missed opportunities as Leinster clinically took their chances .
A Paul Downes penalty was all Munster had to show for an encouraging first half performance with Leinster leading 7-3 at the break.
Replacement Vincent O’Brien scored the only Munster try in the second half with Downes converting.
The focus now turns to the home clash against Connacht on Saturday at Young Munster's Tom Clifford Park at 2:30pm.
