Munster Under 20’s Overcome Leicester

Munster Under 20’s beat Leicester 26-17 in France today thanks to tries from Robbie Deegan and captain Stephen Fitzgerald.

Out-half Tomás Quinlan kicked both conversions and added four further penalties to seal the win at the Stade de Besse.

The game was the final warm-up match for the Munster Under 20's, sponsored by GxP Systems, ahead of the upcoming interprovincial series.

They led the English side 16-10 at the break through Deegan's converted try and three Quinlan penalties with Fitzgerald's second half try and another Quinlan penalty helping Peter Malone's side finish their preparations with a win.
