Munster Women In Rugby Network Event Held In Charleville

Following on from the successful launch of the IRFU Women in Rugby Network, the first Munster-based Women in Rugby networking event was held last Sunday in the Charleville Park hotel.

The event provided an opportunity for women in rugby to meet, make connections and share their experiences in rugby.

The event was led by IRFU Head of Equity, Diversity & Inclusivity (ED&I) Anne Marie Hughes and IRFU’s Women’s Development Manager Amanda Greensmith, who gave an update to the attendees on the progress of the women in rugby action plan and how the network can feed into this going forward.

The group was subdivided based on their roles within their respective clubs so that they could network further before coming together for a chance to talk and network amongst the wider group.

More Munster Women In Rugby events will be held in the future.
