Munster Women’s Side Begin Defence with a Victory

The Munster Ladies side began their defence of their Interprovincial campaign with a 22-7 win over Connacht at Musgrave Park.

Munster ran in four tries with Geraldine Rea, Sarah Jane Cody, Mairead Kelly and Olivia Stapleton all scoring tries. Niamh Briggs kicked a conversion.

Emma Casey replied with a try for Connachtand Ailish Toner converted.

Next up for Munsteris a trip to Ulsternext Saturday at Ravenhill, kick off 1.30.
