Munster XV Named For Ulster

Munster Women Head Coach Gary Walsh has named an unchanged starting XV to face Ulster this Sunday, 8th December (kick-off 1pm) at Clonmel RFC.

Following their 37-12 win over Connacht last week-end at the Sportsground in Galway, Munster will be hoping for a two from two in their first home fixture of the series as they bid to retain their interprovincial title.

Munster, captained by Highfield’s Heather O’Brien will start in the second row joined by her club colleagues Niamh English, Orlaith Buckley, Laura Guest, Mona Fehily, Ger Rea and Nicola Scully who also feature in the starting line-up.

Women’s player of the year Niamh Briggs will start at full back, accompanied by her UL Bohemian teammates Fiona Hayes, Kate Sheehan and Mollie O’Donnell.

Tralee’s Ciara Griffin and Siobhan Fleming will start in the back row with Shannon’s Aoife Doyle and Aimee Lee Murphy Crowe from Clanwilliam named in the backs.
