The #MunsterStartsHere video series has returned and once again highlights the fantastic work that goes on behind the scenes to develop the game across the province.

The videos showcase the key roles played by clubs and schools when ensuring the development of age-grade structures, adult structures and community programmes.

The Ballincollig Trailblazers feature in the latest #MunsterStartsHere video. The Trailblazers are a women’s mixed-ability rugby team that were formed in 2019.

Mixed-ability rugby has inclusivity at its core with all players welcome regardless of experience or any mental or physical disability.

We spoke to Robert Keane who coaches the Trailblazers along with players Ciara Aherne and Marie Healy who discuss the benefits of mixed-ability rugby and the fantastic opportunities which the sport has given them.
