Dungarvan's 1st XV are a squad with rugby values at their core.
Adult rugby continues to grow throughout the province with clubs providing players of all different abilities with the opportunity to develop their skills in a team environment.
Dungarvan Club Captain & Director of Rugby, Michael Daly, began his rugby journey as a mini player at the Waterford club, progressing through the age-grade system before contributing to the growth of the 1st XV as well as the family ethos at Dungarvan RFC.
This season, the 28-year-old played a key part in Dungarvan’s promotion to Division Two of the Munster Junior League as the club defeated Killarney in the promotional play-off final.

Six clubs will feature as we take you across the province – Fermoy RFC, Young Munster RFC, St Senan’s RFC, Fethard & District RFC, Dungarvan RFC and Kenmare RFC – Covering all aspects of the Munster community.
