Nine Munster Players Named For Junior World Cup

The Ireland Under-20 squad has been named today for this year’s IRB Junior World Championship in New Zealand which sees nine Munster players included.
Five Munster forwards will travel to the Southern hemisphere in June including Cork Constitution front row partnership Max Abbott and Rory Burke (Munster Academy) along with second row Darragh Moloney.
Diarmuid Dee, Young Munster back row forward has also been named as well as Munster Academy player Jack O’Donoghue from UL Bohemian. Dolphin’s John Madigan, also from the Munster Academy has been selected to feature in the second row.
Munster Academy’s Alex Wootton from Garryowen is one of three Munster backs that will travel along with Cork Constitution scrum half Ryan Foley and Young Munster centre Dan Goggin.
Ireland share pool B with France, Fiji and Wales and open their tournament against France on Monday, 2nd June in QBE Stadium, Auckland.
