ODM Financial Munster Senior Cup Final Draw

The draw for this season’s ODM Financial Munster Senior Cup which was made at the ODM Financial Offices in Bandon is announced.

ODM Financial, Bandon have continued their sponsorship of the Munster Senior Cup for a sixth successive season.

The ODM Financial sponsored Munster Senior Cup is an integral part of Munster’s domestic rugby season with the opening round scheduled to be played on 25th September 2010.

Commenting at the draw Dan Murphy stated “ODM Financial, Bank Place, Bandon as sponsors of the ODM Financial Munster Senior Cup are excited to play a part in taking domestic Munster rugby to the next level with the winners of this year’s competition going forward to represent our great province Munster in the All Ireland series. We believe that this new format aligns well with our ethos of taking our clients to the next level by effectively planning, the achievement of their financial goals with them. To win this historic Competition a team must combine the traditional values of team building with innovative and forward thinking game plans. This formula provides a natural fit between ODM Financial as sponsor and the Munster Senior Cup competition.”

A bonus for this season’s competition is that the winners will qualify for the semi finals of the All Ireland Cup where they will have a home tie against the Leinster winners on January 8th.

Defending champions Young Munster face a difficult opener away to U.L. Bohemian with the winners away to either U.C.C. or Garryowen.

Cork Constitution the current All Ireland Cup holders have been drawn away to Nenagh Ormond with the winners away to either Bruff or cup specialists Shannon.

Clonmel the only Junior club in the competition make the long journey to Clonakilty with the winners having an away tie against Highfield or Thomond.

Dolphin face a local derby against Sunday’s Well with the winners away to either Old Crescent or Midleton in the last eight.
