Old Crescent RFC Elects New President

Dr Michael O’Flynn was elected President of Old Crescent RFC for the coming season at the Club’s AGM held in their Clubhouse at Rosbrien yesterday evening, 21st May.

Limerick born Dr O’Flynn was educated at Crescent College and UCC. He had been a GP with an interest in sports medicine in Limerick city since 1980, and has been the Club’s Medical Officer for over thirty years. He is the first medical practitioner to become President of Old Crescent RFC.

Speaking after his election, Dr Flynn said “The next season will be a challenging one for Old Crescent RFC but with our new coaching structure already in place we will be aiming for promotion back to AIL Division 2A next season”
