Old rivals to meet in Bowen Shield Final

Holders Christian Brothers College book place in the final of the Bowen Shield.

Arch rivals P.B.C. and C.B.C. will meet in next week’s final of the Bowen Shield after the Sydney Hill College defeated St. Munchin’s in the second semi final in Limerick.

The game was played in very heavy conditions and Cormac Murphy gave Munchin’s the lead with a penalty in the opening half. Christians hit back immediately and took the lead with a try from Michael Ryan.

This was to be the last score of the day and a date, time and venue for the final will be announced shortly.
