In the Under 18 competition a win for Tralee in their rescheduled Group 1 game against Young Munster in Limerick on Sunday will see the Kerry side clinch a home quarter final and Clanwilliam who won two of their three games will qualify in second place behind them. However a win for Young Munster will see three sides all on two wins each and a playoff will be required to decide the quarter finalists.

In group 2 two games are yet to be played including a rematch of last years Under 17 semi-final between Clonakilty and Bruff which Clonakilty won before winning the final against Waterpark. Their opponents Bruff have only played one game so far and one win from their two games will give them a place in the quarter finals alongside Clonakilty. The county Limerick side are also scheduled to play Galbally following a weather interrupted few weeks.

Cork Constitution have won group 3 having won all three of their games and they will be joined in the knockout stages by the winner of Friday night’s clash in Rosbrien between Old Crescent and Cobh Pirates.

Only three games have been played in group 4 at this stage and of which Waterpark have won two which means the Waterford club are into the knock out stages. The remaining quarter final spot is between Newcastle West and Sundays Well. Both of whom have played just one game to date.

In the Under 16 competition Bantry Bay in their first year playing at this stage of competition have qualified for the quarter finals with a one hundred percent record from group 1. They should be joined in the knock-out stages by Waterpark provided the Waterford club defeat Sundays Well in their rearranged clash this weekend.

Bruff have won group 2 with three wins from their three games and Castleisland will also be playing in the knockout stages having won two games.

Kilfeacle have qualified from group 3 and Clonakilty having only played one game so far have a chance to go level on points with the Tipperary club when they host Killorglin on Sunday. Should Clonakilty win that clash they will take on Kilfeacle the following Sunday to decide the winner of the group.

Dungarvan travel to Muskerry on Sunday as they attempt to seal a home quarter final as group 4 winners.
