PBC Qualify For Avonmore Milk Schools Cup Semi Finals.

Holders Presentation Brothers College advanced to the semi finals of the Avonmore Milk Munster Schools Senior Cup with an easy win at Woodleigh Park.

P.B.C. 17, St. Munchin’s 6.

Munchin’s made the better start and raced into an early 6-0 lead with a drop goal and penalty from out half Ben Nugent.

Ross Caplice came close to getting a try for Pres’ but knocked on close to the line and on the stroke of half time prop Killian Kingston did get in for a try under the posts and Rory Scannell converted to leave it 7-6 in favour of the Cork side at half time.

Two tries on forty and forty seven minutes by winger James Kiernan saw Pres’ race into an eleven point lead.

The Mardyke College were never troubled after this and must now travel to Limerick to face Crescent College Comprehensive at the start of March.
