Presentation Brothers College booked their place in this season’s SEAT Munster Schools Junior Cup Final with a comfortable victory over Rockwell College at Clanwilliam Park.
Rockwell College 3, Presentation Brothers College 20.
It was an outstanding display by the Pres' pack where number 8 Jack Tadgh O'Sullivan dominated and he was well supported by Brian O'Connor, Conor O'Flynn and Niall O'Brien.
Pres' out half Peter Sylvester gave an outstanding display putting Rockwell on the back foot for long periods with some astute kicking.
James Broderick opened the scoring with a penalty for Pres' after ten minutes.
Following a line out won by second row Jack O'Sullivan, Billy Scannell collected went blind side to score in the corner in the eighteenth minute.
Rockwell hit back immediately with a penalty from Padraig Feehan.
Just before the break a break from a line out by Conor O'Flynn saw him link up with Cian Fitzgerald who touched down for a 13-3 half time lead.
Rockwell came more into game in the second half with Conor Cashman and David Shaw impressing with some surging runs.
Ten minutes from the finish Paul Buckley wrapped the game up for Pres', when he picked up a loose ball in the middle of the field and raced away to score under the posts and Broderick converted.
