Play Rugby At Holy Family National School
20th April 2011 By Munster Rugby
Following the success since the introduction of the IRFU ‘Play Rugby’ initiative to the Holy Family National School, Ennis, the primary school has now joined up with Ennis Rugby Club where school pupils now enjoy training once a week.
Munster Rugby are currently rolling out the IRFU "Play Rugby" programme within primary schools throughout the province.
The programme encourages the effective development of non-contact mini rugby through schools by providing them with the necessary equipment and coach education.
School teachers are encouraged to continue with this initiative and assist with the development of rugby at primary school level.
