Play Rugby At Kenmare RFC

Munster Rugby recently hosted a ‘Play Rugby’ Tag Blitz at Kenmare RFC with over 140 players in attendance from St. John’s National School.

Supported by their teachers, the national school pupils have been taking part in the IRFU Play Rugby scheme over the last six weeks and were delighted to showcase their new skills at the one day event.

Since the introduction of the ‘Play Rugby’ initiative the young boys and girls have learned tag rugby techniques including running and evasion, passing and tagging and hope to continue playing the sport at their local rugby clubs.
