Play Rugby Comes To Scoil Ide

Scoil Ide, in Corbally, Limerick are the latest school to have taken part in Leprechaun Rugby Coaching through the IRFU’s "Play Rugby" Scheme.

Sixth class primary school students recently enjoyed coaching sessions coordinated by Munster Rugby where they were presented with a “ Play Rugby” pack on completion of the course.

The young players will be given the opportunity to showcase their new skills when they take part in a local Leprechaun Rugby Blitz at part of their development.

The programme encourages the effective development of non-contact mini rugby through schools by providing them with the necessary equipment and coach education.

School teachers are encouraged to continue with this initiative and assist with the development of rugby at primary school level.
