Play Rugby Progamme Comes To Rathkeale

St Joseph’s Boys National School in Rathkeale, Co. Limerick is the latest school to take part in Leprechaun rugby training through the IRFU’s ‘Play Rugby’ scheme.

Children from second to sixth class enjoyed coaching sessions delivered by Munster Community Rugby Officer Euan Gee.

The ‘Play Rugby’ programme encourages the effective development of non-contact mini rugby through schools by providing them with the necessary equipment and coach education.

School teachers are encouraged to continue with this initiative and assist with the development of rugby at primary school level.

On completion of the course, the school will be presented with a ‘Play Rugby’ equipment pack which contains six rugby balls, cones, bibs, games and much more.

If your school would like to enter the 'Play Rugby' programme, please email info@munsterrugby.ie.
