Play Rugby Programme In Thurles Girls’ Schools

The Munster Rugby Development Department recently introduced the ‘Play Rugby’ programme into Presentation Secondary School and The Ursuline Secondary School in Thurles.

Munster Rugby Recruitment and Participation Officer Aiden McNulty co-ordinated the courses for the transition year students of both all-girls' schools.

The 'Play Rugby' programme encourages the effective development of rugby through schools by providing them with the necessary equipment and coach education.

There is excellent work being done at the school by Seán Lanagan-Ryan from Thurles RFC with Aiden McNulty in assistance.

The Schools also received ‘Play Rugby’ Packs to allow the students to continue playing rugby within the school following the course.

The equipment pack which contains six rugby balls, cones, bibs, games and much more.

If your school would like to enter the 'Play Rugby' programme, please email aidenmcnulty@munsterrugby.ie or info@munsterrugby.ie.
