Preparation Gets Underway For Munster Age-Grade Representative Squads

Preparation is underway for Munster’s age-grade representative squads as they begin their respective summer programmes with Interprovincial fixtures set to take place in August.

The Munster U19 Boys, U18 Boys Schools and U18 Boys Clubs have been in a six week pre-summer training block since April in preparation for their upcoming games.

The program took place in both Cork (MTU) and Limerick (UL) and consisted of three pitch and gym sessions per week as well as an online educational meeting that was held once a week.

The Munster Girls U18 squad will also begin their preparations in July with their Interprovincial series due to take place in August

The girls squads have had plenty of good preparation in recent weeks with many players involved in the 7s programme which saw success at the Summer 7s Interprovincial Series in Dublin last month.

Fixture details, squad information and coaching details for the respective squads will be confirmed in the coming weeks.
