Primary School Blitz Day At Nenagh Ormond RFC

Primary Schools in the Nenagh area gathered recently to play a schools blitz run by Pat Fitzpatrick, the Club’s Community Rugby Officer (CCRO).

A total of 153 boys and girls from Borrisokane, Newtown, Ballinaclough, Pukane and Lisenahall national schools took part in beautiful sunny weather conditions.

The blitz gave the students the opportunity to play against neighbouring schools and to test out their skills on the Nenagh Ormond RFC rugby pitches.

There was some excellent rugby on display by both boys and girls and Munster Rugby would like to thank Liffey Mills Nenagh who sponsored the event.
