Ireland will take on England in the World Rugby U20 World Chanpionships 5th Place semi-final on Monday at 7.30pm (Irish time) after Wednesday’s 38-14 bonus-point win over Italy.
Munster Rugby Academy out-half Ben Healy kicked 15 points in the win, including the conversions of tries from Michael Milne, Cormac Foley, Azur Allison, Rob Russell and Ryan Baird.
Munster Academy man Thomas Ahern and Shannon’s Luke Clohessy made their Ireland U20s debuts in Wednesday’s win.
Ireland’s second bonus point success sealed their best overall pool performance since 2016, and they move on as sixth seeds, meeting England in Rosario on Monday.
