The group stages of the Clayton Hotels Munster Schools Senior and Junior Cup competitions have continued this week.
In Group A of the Senior Cup, Presentation Brothers College defeated Ardscoil Rís 21-8 at home while Munster CSP recorded a 15-3 victory over Castletroy College at UL.
The club side remain on top of Group A after four rounds of competition.
In Group B, St. Munchin’s edged out Glenstal Abbey 21-14 at Glenstal as Rockwell College are set to host Christian Brothers College this Saturday (11am).
Crescent College Comprehensive lead Group B and are set to play their next match against CBC in Lansdowne on Wednesday, 27 November (2.30pm).
Action in Group A and Group B of the Junior Cup returns next week.
The group stages of the Clayton Hotels Munster Schools Senior and Junior Cup competitions kicked-off last month with a new-look format providing more games for schools ahead of the knock-out stages in January 2020.
Teams in both the Senior and Junior Cup competitions are divided into two groups, Group A and Group B, with the introduction of a Munster Club Select Player (CSP) side in Group A of the Senior competition.
