Volunteers attend the Rugby Development Roadshow held at Irish Independent Park last season.

The Rugby Development Roadshows will return to the province this September ahead of the 2019/20 season.

Following on from last year’s success which saw 40 members of Munster Rugby staff connect with club and school volunteers, four venues will once again host information evenings over a two-week period across the province.

Ahead of the 2018/19 season, a total of 180 volunteers representing 53 clubs and 12 schools received information and support on areas such as Rugby Development, Spirit of Rugby, Fixtures & Competitions, Rugby Services, Branch Administration, Ticketing, Communications & PR, Women’s & Girls’ Game, and Refereeing.

The roadshows will provide volunteers with an opportunity to meet Munster Rugby staff, including branch officers, committee members and M.A.R. representatives, and will follow the same format as last season with some minor changes, based on the feedback received from the Information Evening Survey 2018/19.
