Rugby Faculty At Cashel RFC

Munster Rugby recently ran a Stage 1 and 2 Practical Workshop as part of the second phase of the ‘Rugby Faculty’ in Cashel RFC.

In total 16 coaches took part on the night with the Stage 1 part of the session focusing on a wide range of sample fun games and skills relating to the two ‘General Movement’ Groups at Stage 1 ‘Players on the Ball’ and ‘Players in Space’.

An introduction showing the concept and importance of physical literacy in the planning of each session was also included.

Stage 2 focused on the 'Early and Late Groups' whilst delivering and showing an understanding into the 'Axis' Group. Reduced Activities were then demonstrated looking at the skills relating to these four families.
